The left panel is something new in V5 and is found at the top left of your Browser. It is a toggle - meaning click it once to open and click it again to close.

The left panel can be thought of as containing items that start a search.

There are two elements contained in the left pane: Linked Filter Search and V5 Playlists and when the pane is opened, these are selected at the bottom of the pane.

A lot of times when searching you know the library you want to search and just want one or two keywords in the searchbar. For this you’d use the Filter Search.

Other times, you’ve built up a “bestof” list pulled from a specific database. This is what the playlists are for.
