Shoot Date from Pictures

When you create a SoundEffects database you have a new field called ShootDate. This is a DATE/TIME field.

If you shoot sound and capture images with your iPhone(or any camera that embeds EXIF metadata), when you Assign artwork to Selection, the shoot date is automatically extracted and assigned.

It’s good to note that Soundminer strips out EXIF metadata before assigning the picture, along with rescaling.

It does this to protect your privacy(removes GPS info on where you shot the sound)
