Soundminer v4.5Pro v187

  • [FIX] - Sporadic crashes when embedding to a LOT of wave files. For some people it’d be 40,000 into an embed job for other’s it was 90,000. This was a cunning bug, but I’m glad its now squashed.
  • [IMP] - While fixing this ^^^^ added a memory pool for embedding to stop memory thrashing(faster performance)
  • [IMP] - New mirror option to mirror to a single folder(like doing a transfer)
  • [IMP] - Workarounds for anymix pro vst plugin
  • [IMP] - Help menu links to sfx and music vendors
  • [IMP] - Multichannel selection in the leg picker. Now follows OS conventions. SHIFT click to select a range, command click to toggle on/off a channel leaving the others alone
  • [FIX] - Potential crash if database didn’t have a playlist table
  • [NEW] Reaper Support. Including following media path
  • [IMP] - Do not show again warning with paste into field.
  • [IMP] - Speed improvements when creating a top level folder in the spotting panel
  • [FIX] - Crash when cancelling the transfer window initiated from the spotting panel(introduced in v178)
  • [IMP] - Core Audio multichannel output, can be toggled on/off with the hammer and wrench icon. Will output in ITU format(L/R/C/LFE/Ls/Rs)
  • [IMP] - Support for upmixing plugins like Nugen Upmix and DTS Halo. Takes care of twizzling the channels outputted by these plugins
  • [NEW] Under the help menu is a link to the latest release version and all download info. This is an up to date copy of what people who purchase receive.
  • [FIX] - Some crashes from crashreports where pasting in text with too many tabs in text would go out of bounds. Same with Edit field and not being over a column when right clicking!
  • [IMP] - Soundfield plugins accepts all streams
  • [IMP] - Shift click/Command Click on the channel label at the bottom to select(toggle) and transfer multiple legs.(May introduce bugs / adverse behavior with channel names in protools, timecodes, etc.) Worked for some simple tests I did. Split files for channels extracted that don’t contain L or A1 will not be rescanned into Soundminer without renaming. i.e. You extract Ls and Rs, they’ll be named that way in the finder, but won’t be scanned.
  • [IMP] - Update notifier will display change notes for future updates
  • [NEW] - Change Database trigger(for changing preferences whenever you change databases)…docs to follow
  • [CHG] - If unsorted files in the spotting panel somehow got a transfer path set on it, just ignore it.
  • [IMP] - Hold SHIFT and mousewheel over the waveform to zoom the waveform height up/down
